EQUANS is looking for a Helpdesk Coordinator to join our team based in Campbell Road, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 on a permanent basis. This is a full time/part-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.


In your new role as a Help Desk Coordinator, you will become a pivotal part within our facilities management team offering outstanding customer service via telephone and email to our clients across multiple business sectors including, Schools, Council Facilities, Police facilities, and lots more. You will coordinate break downs requests through the business alongside planned services in line with fixed timelines. This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same and offers a lot of diversity in day-to-day duties.

You will work Monday to Friday working 8.5 hours per day between the hours of 07:00 – 19:00 on a rota basis – 0700 to 1530hrs 0830 to 1700hrs 1030 to 1900.

What will you deliver?

  • Coordinate incoming enquires via telephone and email
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer service at all times
  • Accurately log all enquires within the in-house systems
  • Liaise with clients on ongoing works, sourcing and providing updates where required
  • Review open service requests ensuring the efficient completion of open works
  • Carry out administrative duties as required.

Who are we looking for?


  • You will have the ability to or have experience of offering the highest levels of customer service
  • You will have an excellent telephone and email etiquette
  • You will have experience of working with in house systems (Maximo, Boris, Sales Force, Dynamics etc) or be computer literate with the ability to learn
  • You will be able to problem solve effectively
  • You will be able to demonstrate effective time management and prioritisation skills
  • You will be able to function working by yourself but also understand the importance of your team, and to actively support where needed.
