Job description

Our client, a child bereavement charity helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies.

They support children and young people (up to the age of 25) When someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying.

They provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

Helpline Practitioner (part-time)
Hours: 15 hours per week
Salary: £28,000 pro rata per annum (Actual £11,200)
Reporting: Head of Helpline Services
Base: Blended homebased working with quarterly meeting at their offices in High Wycombe, Bucks

They are looking to recruit a talented and highly motivated Helpline Practitioner to provide timely and appropriate support and information to families and professionals who contact them, this is through a variety of channels, mainly phone, email and live chat.

This a part-time role of 2 days per week (15 hours). 7.5 hours will need to be on a Thursday, 7.5 hours will be flexible.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS check.
