We have contract vacancy for an experienced and capable herdsperson on this 1,000 acre farm to take day to day control with assistance of a 7,000 litre low input 300 Holstein cow herd near Haverfordwest.
Cows are fully housed in cubicles during the Winter with summer paddock grazing, so besides milking’s in a 50 point westfalia rotary, with auto ID, and ADF, responsibilities will be Cow health monitoring, to include AI and foot trimming through very good facilities with plenty of assistance and relief available.
All heifers are home reared, with bull calves retained to finishing.
A competitive salary, with an off farm 5 bedroom centrally heated farmhouse is on offer for the successful candidate.
