HEET is a vibrant community organisation delivering practical solutions to fuel poverty, climate change and health inequalities caused by inadequate housing. We take a holistic approach, through a combination of advice, advocacy and training, installing energy-saving measures and making referrals for grant-funded home improvements.
We are looking for a self-motivated and organised person to take a fresh look at our systems and processes, to ensure a smooth workflow that meets our clients' needs and keeps our staff team focused on project priorities. You will play a crucial role in developing and administering our operational management, with responsibility also for compliance and liaising with external HR support.
Major Tasks:
- Review, develop and maintain processes to ensure smooth workflows
- Work with the team to monitor and evaluate performance against project targets
- Manage information - including collection and dissemination
- Ensure legal compliance – including GDPR, and Health and Safety
- Liaise with external HR support on recruitment and staffing
- Ensure operations are properly resourced (maintain stock, monitor staffing priorities)
Our staff team operates in a non-hierarchical structure based on equal participation in decision making and equal pay. We have a management committee composed of local residents who help guide our work.
Salary is £36,753 per annum (£22,052 0.6 FTE). This is a part-time role (21 hours per week) with hybrid working options (preferably at least one day a week at our Walthamstow office). Annual leave entitlement is 25 days plus bank holidays on a pro rata basis.
