HGV 1 Container Driver Weekends
Location : Cardiff
Salary: £15.50 to £20.50 per hour
We are working with a leading logistics company who have a site in Cardiff and are looking for Weekend Drivers (Friday to Monday). You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods across various locations.
Responsibilities:
- Safety and efficient transport containers to designated destinations.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct pre and post trip inspections of the vehicles and containers
- Secure and load/unload containers safely.
- Maintain accurate records of delivers.
- Communication effectively with dispatches and other team members
Requirements:
- Valid HGV 1 Licence with CPC and Tachograph
- Must have held CE Licence for a minimum of 2 year with no more than 6 penalty point.
- 180 days HGV1 (CE) drivers experience in the last 24 months.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
Shifts:
- Days and Nights.
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
