THIS ROLE IF SUCCESSFUL IS AN IMMEDIATE START ROLE

HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER

• DURATION: ONGOING – ONGOING WORK
• RENUMERATION: £14.00 PER HOUR X 35-40.75 hours per week
• OVERTIME: £21.00 PER HOUR
• HOLIDAY PAY £1.68
• FULL EMPLOYERS PENSION 3%
• HOURS OF WORK:
• 8.30am – 5.30PM
• working hours Tuesday to Friday

Working within our state of the art Head Office in Belfast – ideally located right next to the main motorway network you would be based in our on-site 75,000 sq ft of bonded warehouse. You shall be welcomed into a constantly expanding concern through their diversification in their sector.

Continual investment has enabled our client to enhance and perfect their delivery capability - in order to satisfy growing demand and “to better serve” our customers - with the addition of five new Volvo FL6 Urban Artics in the past year.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Excellent customer service skills Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times
• Complete vehicle checks in line with Operating licence procedures, reporting any defects to the Transport Manager (both in writing and verbally)
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department

Essential Criteria

• Must hold a valid HGV2 licence, Digital Tachograph card and Full Driver CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Good Geographical knowledge of NI
• Good Knowledge of driver’s hours, rules and regulations
• Good Communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must have experience of using ratchet straps
• Must be able to apply Manual Handling techniques
• Must be flexible to work weekends & Bank holidays
