As an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver you will have a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, be a competent HGV Class 1 Driver with a good driving record, and relevant 2 years + experience in driving heavy goods vehicles on UK roads. Upto 6 points on driving licence accepted, NO ENDORSEMENTS. You’ll need to be adept at effectively using GPS systems, maps, and other navigation tools to ensure efficient route planning and timely deliveries with a clear understanding of health & safety regulations and procedures. You will be willing to drive to any required destination within the UK.

Pay Schedule:
£18.00 - £24.00 per hour
+ Holiday pay (Paid on top of hourly salary)
+ Pension contribution (3%)
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to and from different locations
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations, as well as company policies procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with the dispatcher and other team members
- Handle goods carefully and ensure they are secured properly
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license (C+E)
- 5 years trackable work history
- Minimum 2 years’ UK road experience driving heavy goods vehicles (Active within last 2 years)
- ADR experience an advantage
- Previous manual handling experience
- Health & safety training
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Completed CPC training course
- Valid Driver CPC qualification card
- Good driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Ability to read and follow GPS and other navigational systems
- Can do attitude and willing to drive to varied locations within the UK
- Excellent communication skills
- Be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads
- Provide holiday and sickness cover as required
- Flexibility to work all shifts including weekends and nights if required
