Job Description
Do you have a strong desire to immediately take on the role of an HGV Class 1 Driver? If so, we have a great opportunity ready for you in Plymouth, PL6 5DT.
- Days: £17.33 per hour | Nights: £23.05 per hour
- Weekly Pay
- Guaranteed minimum shift payment of 8 hours
- We are recruiting to cover Mon-Fri shift patterns for telephone communication deliveries and trunking
- There are various start times available
Requirements as a HGV Class 1 Driver:
- A full Class 1 HGV Licence held for Min 2 years required
- A valid Drivers CPC Card
- A digital tachograph card
- A full understanding of WTD legislation
- Reliable and excellent time keeping
- Flexible with start times & working days
- Moffett licence or experience of Moffett would be advantageous
- This will be a mix of trunking and telephone communication sites. Although the majority of the Class 1 work will be trunking you must also understand there will be an element of class 2 work involved as and when required (still paying Class 1 rate).
- You will be required to use a hand held scanning terminal to scan labels on cages, pallets etc – training will be given.
- There will be an element of hand balling on some items on the class 2 work mixture of pallets, cages and boxes.
- There will be a full days assessment you will be required to attend.
- Experience of moffett would be advantageous
