HGV Class 1 Driver Nights
Contract: Permanent
Overtime: Enhanced rate
Location: LHR
Salary: £45,667.44 PA Shift: Mon - Fri nights or Tue - Sat, 60hrs/wk, Start time between 7pm or 8pm (flexi)
Salary: £31967.21PA Shift: 4 on / 4 off nights 12hrs/shift, Start time between 4pm and 10pm ( Nights out available for 6pm start)

Main duties/ responsibilities
- Operating commercial vehicles
- Load and unload goods
- Manual work
- Making sure loads are safely secured
- Following traffic reports and adapting routes if necessary
- Carrying out basic routine maintenance
- Completing delivery paperwork, PDA, Walk around check or any documentation
- Following the compliance, tacho master and other regulations and laws that are applicable
Technical Skills:
- A valid HGV license
- Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations
- Ability to operate HGVs safely and efficiently
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
- Familiarity with GPS systems and other tracking devices
The successful candidate will:
- Be present with a Positive and Can-do attitude
- Be flexible and reliable
- Minimum 1 years experience of driving C1
- Have great communication skills
- Be able to provide clean basic Criminal Record Check prior to start date (obtained within 10 weeks)
- Provide a full 5-year checkable history
- Hold a Clean Driving Licence (If the position requires it)
- Hold valid DQC and up to date CPC
