We are welcoming applications for Class 1 Drivers to join our operation in Wardpark Cumbernauld on a 4 on 4 off shift Thursday - Monday working 50hrs per week.

What will you do & what will you need?

You’ll play a vital role in making sure our stock is where it needs to be, on time. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that products are Transported from the manufacturer to the retailer safely whilst adhering to our Health & Safety regulations at all times. This is a hands-on job, with plenty of responsibility. You’ll be out on the road but also working closely with colleagues and representing Gist to everyone you meet

You’ll hold a Class 1 licence with at least 18 monthsClass 1 driving experience. A maximum of 6 endorsements with no accidents in the last 12 months and no points for drinking or consuming illegal substances while driving. Manual handling of goods or multi-drop experience is highly desirable, along with a minimum of 3 CPCunits.

Gist Wardpark has recently undergone a refurbishment and extension to enhance capacity and support our network growth. We currently have 140 colleagues at Wardpark and support a satellite site at Lockerbie with a further 30 drivers. We also have a vehicle maintenance unit on site and free on site parking provided.
