THE ROLEHGV Class 1 Driver£25,376Glanrhyd (Cardigan)
- Delivering bagged feed to branches/farms on an artic with the occasional requirement to go onto bulk as and when needed.
- Safely operate and drive HGV Class 1 vehicles in accordance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Transport goods to their destination in a timely and efficient manner, following specified routes and schedules.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations, including tachograph and working time directive requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours of service, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
- Uphold a professional and customer-focused demeanour when interacting with clients and other road users.
- Valid HGV Class 1 license.
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and driving laws.
