If you are a skilled and dedicated professional with a passion for driving, we encourage you to apply today!Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate and maneuver Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) to transport goods from one location to another within specified timeframes- Ensure compliance with all relevant road and safety regulations, including tachograph rules and driving hours- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance or safety issues- Communicate effectively with the transport team, providing accurate documentation and reporting any delivery or operational challenges- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle, regularly checking for defects, and promptly reporting to the appropriate departments- Offer exceptional customer service, representing both Workchain and our client in a positive and professional manner- Follow all appropriate health and safety guidelines to ensure individual and public safety at all timesQualifications:- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 driving license- Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 driver is essential- A valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)- Up-to-date Driver CPC training- Good geographical knowledge of the Sheffield area and surrounding regions- Strong communication skills, with the ability to complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficientlyTerms:This is a temporary position offering a competitive pay rate of £14.00 - £15.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
