SalaryUnited Tyers Ltd is looking for numbers of experienced HGV Class1 Drivers for our depot based in Crumlin. Ongoing work available. General haulage. We have 2 vacancy available 40 hours a week over five days which may include some sleep overs, which will be reimbursed at £30.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing daily vehicle checks in line with the company procedure to ensure they are roadworthy.
- Reporting vehicle defects immediately in line with company procedure
- Assisting with loading and unloading company vehicles
- Reporting any customer complaints to the Transport team
- Complying with all current EU road transport regulations
- Ensuring the freight is secure for transit on the vehicle and not overloaded by weight or capacity.
- Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and presentable. Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Holds a valid HGV LGV Class 1 licence.
- Holds a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
- Holds a Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- General Warehouse duties when not required from time to time.
Competitive salary of between £28-£30K + £500 quarterly infringement performance bonus which equates to £2000 per year.
