HGV Class 1 Drivers
HGV Class 1 Drivers Worksop – Up to 661.76p/w – New Pass Welcome – Guaranteed Work – Immediate Starts – Paid Breaks – Set Rotas – Apply Today!
We are nowrecruiting for new pass HGV Class 1 Drivers in Worksop for one of the UKs leading Distribution & Logistics companies, in partnership with a well known supplier of home and garden items.
Training will be provided as well as a driving assessment for all drivers. We are also offering driving mentors out on the road for drivers to build confidence and so you can gain further experience. A commitment of 3 months is required working with us.
You do not need to have any experience driving a HGV C+E vehicle to apply for this role, but you DO need to have your Class 1 Licence.

Working as a HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Driving an HGV under a Class 1 Licence
- Trunking and store deliveries (working with cages)
- Driving low risk/low difficulty ‘green’ routes
- Routine Vehicle Maintenance Checks
- Route and delivery paperwork completion
Pay Rates for our HGV Class 1 Drivers:
- Days 14.40 p/h
- Nights 15.52 p/h
- Overtime after 46 Hours 19.21 p/h
- Sat (Fri 2200-Sat 2159) 21.61 p/h
- Sun (Sat2200-Sun 2159) 25.20 p/h
- Sat Unsociable 22.73 p/h
- Sun Unsociable 26.33 p/h
The weekly rate of 661.76 is payable working 10 hours, Sunday to Thursday with an 18:00 start time.
What do we need from you to be an HGV Class 1 Driver?
- Afull HGV Class 1 driving licence (C+E)
- We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements
- Digi Tachograph Card & DCPC Card
