HGV Class 2 Driver

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Hazardous Waste division based at our Dunniflats site. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is ideal for those looking for more than a ‘standard’ driving job as you will be doing a lot more than sitting behind the wheel. The role will require you to get involved in the operational work on site as well with ad hoc operational duties being a requirement of the role. So, if you are looking for both a physical and mental challenge, this role is for you!

The Role:

· You will perform collections on rigid tankers.

· You will be the face of the business, interacting with customers on a daily basis.

· You are responsible for your load being safe, secure and accurately described, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed.

· You must be able to work on your own initiative.

· You should be willing to work flexibly, either day runs and/or night out runs.

The Ideal candidate:

· You must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence.

· Must have 2-3 years driving experience.

· You must hold a valid digital tachograph card and have completed all CPC requirements.

· Experience with tankers / Jet/vac units is desirable.
