Hgv Class 2 Driver

We are looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers for our new client in Pontefract. The job will mainly be delivering to stores and distribution centres but will also include general haulage.

As an HGV Class 2 Driver we are looking for people that have an up to date clean licence, hold CPC and digital tachograph cards, enjoy dealing with people on a daily basis, have excellent customer service skills and understand the importance of health and safety within an organisation.

Responsibilities include: -

• Maintaining security of load when loading, transporting and delivering freight.
• Carry out daily checks on vehicle and ancillary equipment.
• Comply with legislation regarding vehicle safety, tachographs operation and working time.
• Relay appropriate customer queries to depot staff as required.
• Act as an ambassador for the company, providing high standard of customer care and being polite at all times.
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork.

A minimum of one years experience driving HGV C2 is essential.

A good knowledge of the UK road network is a must.

Holiday pay will also be provided.

The job will be starting in the next 7 to 14 days.
