We invite dedicated and skilled drivers to join our client's team and become an integral part of their continued success.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 2 vehicles to deliver and collect goods to and from specified locations in and around Cardiff.- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects promptly.- Adhere to all relevant legislation, including driving regulations, health and safety protocols, and company policies.- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and related paperwork.- Interact professionally and provide superior customer service during all interactions with clients and colleagues.- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure seamless loading and unloading processes.- Deliver goods on schedule and uphold high standards of punctuality.- Troubleshoot any delivery-related issues that may arise, ensuring prompt resolution.- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle, ensuring it is presentable at all times.- Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to company guidelines.Qualifications:- Hold a valid UK driving license with Category C entitlement (HGV Class 2).- Possess a valid CPC card and digital tachograph card.- Proven experience in driving and operating HGV Class 2 vehicles.- A responsible attitude towards health and safety, adhering to all driving regulations.- Strong organization and time management skills to meet delivery targets.- Excellent communication and customer service skills.- Ability to work well as part of a team, supporting colleagues when necessary.- Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and priorities.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when completing paperwork.Workchain offers a competitive pay rate of £14.00 - £15.00 per hour, reflecting your skills and experience.
