HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver (Working Away)

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our market leading client based in the Barnsley area. We are looking for experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 07:00am start times.

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour PAYE.

Location: Barnsley, S75.

Job Type: Temporary to permanent.

The Role

· Operate a Class 2 Tipper vehicle safely and efficiently.

· Carry out tipper work, including the transportation and tipping of products such as aggregate, topsoil, etc.

· Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.

· Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.

· Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.

· Ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned routes.

· Will be required to work away from home, with accommodation provided in a paid hotel.

Requirements

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 3 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Have a minimum of 2 years proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.

· Have a full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Be prepared to work away from home in paid accommodation as required.

· Excellent communication skills.

· A safety-first mindset.
