Salary As HGV Jet Vac Driver / Rig Leader you will play an active part in driving and operating jet-vac vehicles on CCTV, Pipe Rehabilitation or manhole rehabilitation projects. Our client is a specialist subcontractor who specialises in no dig engineering services, pipeline investigation and repair in the utility sector. Due to major contract awards in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland they are looking to add a Jet Vac to their team in Lisburn.
Please note travel will be required throughout Ireland and Scotland
As Jet Vac Driver / Rig Leader your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Receiving and correctly interpreting instructions and direction from Project Managers ( or Managers/Directors or other sources as appropriate) , and ensuring these are executed to a high standard by you and your Rig TeamDriving & operating the Jetter vehicle to carry out jet/vacuum pipe cleaning.You also may be required to operate all equipment as required to carry out Jobs/Tasks/Projects which may include : - site scoping, high pressure water jetting of pipelines, pipe or manhole rehabilitation, robotic cutting, Carrying out regular housekeeping and cleaning tasks and other tasks appropriate to the effective running of the businessEnsuring that safety is paramount at all times as well as ensuring that all safety measures are in place for pedestrians, other contractors etc. E.g. Signing, coning off sections of the road to enable work to commence safelyEnsuring each job/task/project is carried out efficiently, timely, and with due concern for all involved.Advising, instructing and training other team members in the use of equipment, materials and all associated processes/proceduresTo be considered for this role you will have:
