SalaryManpower is recruiting HGV Mechanics with our client who are Northern Irelands Public Transport service provider.
*Light Vehicle Mechanics are welcome, experience on commercial vehicles is desirable*
Based at their workshop in Derry/ L'Derry, you'll carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on a range Buses and Coaches.
Competitive pay rate with a fantastic pension scheme!
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, with early finish on Fridays £30,230
Night Shift: Sun to Weds / Mon - Thurs 10pm - 8am £39,300
The Role
- Mechanical maintenance, servicing and repairs on vehicles, buses and coaches
- Carry out vehicle inspections and complete relevant paperwork
- Diagnose faults and take corrective action
- Remove and replace vehicle parts
- Work with colleague and supervisors effectively
- Work in line with company policy and health & safety
What we are looking for
- Qualified Level 3 Vehicle Mechanic (Light or HGV)
- Preferably have experience on commercial vehicles, HGV's and Buses
- Able to fault find and diagnose
- Working knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
- High standard of work, quality and safety practice
