HGV Technician

Shifts: Days or Nights, 4 on 4 off
Our client is actively seeking a qualified HGV Technician to join their IRTEC Accredited workshops. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high standards of mechanical and electrical repair, working collaboratively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team to maintain and build employee and customer relations, ensuring the workshop operation achieves its objectives and targets.
- Ensure quality diagnostics and repairs according to repair orders.
- Maintain the working capacity of machines and tools.
- Strive to achieve a Rectification Ratio of Zero (right first time).
- Work closely with the VMU manager, communicating the number of parts and labor needed for additional repairs.
- Record and report time spent on repair and maintenance.
- Assure a clean and safe workshop environment at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 qualification is desired
- Experience within a fleet or commercial environment working on HGVs.
- HGV Class 1 Driving license is preferred.
- Experience with Tail lifts is desirable.
