They are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join a dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of their operations.

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with manufacturing equipment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all engineering activities.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to source replacement parts and equipment when necessary.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.
- City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance is preferred.
- Proven experience in the HGV industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, automation systems, and PLCs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an industrial environment.
