Salary- Commercial Main Dealer
- £37,440 basic salary
- £40,000+ OTE
- 40 hour working week, Monday to Friday
- 1 in 2 Saturday mornings paid at x1.5 time
Our client will also consider applicants from an LCV background as well as HGV background, so please do get in touch if you would like to join this friendly and established work shop team.
Duties of a HGV Technician with our Client:
- Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard of quality Servicing vehicles
- Carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
- Vehicle Inspections
- Producing repair time estimates.
- Vehicle Diagnostics & Fault Finding
- MOT Preparation on HGVs
- MOT Inspection on Class 4 & 7
- Maintaining repair and service records.
- Have an NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds Certifications
- Previous Experience working with HGVs and/or LCVs
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence
- Ideally to have a Class 1 HGV licence, though this is not essential
- Have own Tools
