Our client is a Food Manufacturer based in Birmingham who is currently looking for a HGV Workshop Technician / Team Leader
As the HGV Workshop Technician / Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
Leading the team to ensuring repairs are carried out to meet or exceed the minimum standards as laid down by VOSA.
Ensure quality of work across the workshop
Support a positive and supportive environment and embracing coaching of the teams
Carry out duties in a manner consistent with established safety, environmental and maintenance procedures.
Work with FLM and Logistics team to ensure vehicle availability in accordance with delivery schedules.
To ensure the effective use of resources available to carry out specific tasks or duties.
To ensure that vehicles other fleet assets are maintained in accordance with Company and VOSA standards.
To ensure that established sub-contractors are effectively utilised.
Successful candidates will need:
To have worked in a leadership role in the past
Have good interpersonal and communications skills
Customer focused
City and Guilds LGV Qualifications or relevant equivalent in LGV Vehicle Crafts.
LGV Licence C+E.
This role is working on a rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern rotating between days and nights, with an immediate start for the right candidate.
