Job description
We are excited to announce the expansion of our team due to increased business demand. Moving forward we are also exploring the roll out of a second shift, so there is the possibility for varied work patterns – should that be of interest to you. We are searching for skilled Technicians who are ready to work in one of the best workshop facilities in the Beds, Bucks, and Herts area. Our modern state-of-the-art workshop is fully equipped with all the tools, equipment and machinery you need to do the job properly.
As a Trailer Technician, your primary responsibilities will include providing routine maintenance and repairs to equipment and vehicles of various makes and models. Additional duties and responsibilities include:
· Performing major and minor repairs on specialist trailers, HGVs, and other vehicles in the company fleet
· Conducting regular inspections and general preventative maintenance services, such as tyre rotation and oil changes
· Collaborating with repair teams to diagnose and plan vehicle repairs.
· Keeping detailed records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled.
· Completing relevant documentation and paperwork, and handling warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.
· Maintaining workshop inventory and ensuring general cleanliness.
· Providing in-house training and development - IPAF, Forklift, EBS courses, IRTEC, Welding etc
Please note that we specialize in trailer repairs, not HGV engines.
