This post is for the recruitment of a ''Waste Driver" based at Civic Centre, Swindon, SN1 2JH.
- Pay Rate: £15.50/per hour via Umbrella
- 37 hours per week
- Initial 3 month contract with chance of extension
Responsibilities:
You will be transporting goods equipment and personnel, assisting in the loading and unloading of the vehicle when necessary and updating the in cab systems with any collection issues.
Your working hours will be up to 7.4 hours a day Monday to Friday between the hours of 06:00 and 18:00 where you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level in customer care in line with our service standards and you will have responsibility for the behaviour of the crew.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE CLEAR CURRENT HGV 2 LICENCE
- A driver assessment will need to be completed and you will have a current HGV licence and a valid in date CPC Card, experience of completing daily log sheets and tachograph/books and be able to operate electronic ICT systems.
