HGV/PSV Technicians

Funky Flamingo is the UK's fastest growing recruitment agency, specialising in the supply of HGV Technicians and professional driving staff.

We are now on the look out for experienced HGV/PSV Technicians to work on a permanent basis with our busy and friendly client based in North West London.

You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Shifts and Hours:

- 7 shifts on/3 shifts off - 7 shifts on/4 shifts off
- AM and PM starts available

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues
- Order parts and materials as needed for repairs
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Skills:

- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair various types of vehicles and equipment
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems

Qualifications:

- You will need to be qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
