Are you an experienced and passionate educator looking for a rewarding role in primary education? Our school in Ipswich is seeking a dedicated High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to cover classrooms across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 when teachers are absent.

High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Cover a primary class The Role: As a High-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across various classrooms in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide one-on-one support to students, and cover classrooms when teachers are absent.
High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Cover a primary class Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the planning and delivery of lessons.
• Providing targeted support to students with diverse learning needs, including SEN and EAL learners.
• Leading small group activities and interventions to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assisting in the assessment and tracking of student progress, and providing feedback to teachers.
• Promoting positive behavior management strategies and maintaining a supportive classroom environment.
• Covering classrooms and delivering lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Cover a primary class Requirements:

• Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a primary school setting.
• A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the academic and social development of students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and classrooms.
• Relevant qualifications or training in education, such as HLTA status or equivalent, preferred but not essential.
