High Voltage Power Electronics Design Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a High Voltage Power Electronics Design Engineer to join an exciting technology company based in Berkshire.
The High Voltage Power Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing DC-DC and AC-DC converters of up to 2kW, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications. You will also collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to integrate the power supplies into the overall system and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in Power Electronics Design. You should also have strong knowledge of high-voltage circuits, switching devices, magnetic components, control systems and thermal management.
You should be proficient in using simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, or Simulink, and familiar with PCB design software such as Altium or Eagle. You should also have excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently and under pressure.
