Higher Education Community Engagement Officer (El756Fx)

Salary: £25,205 – £28,282 per annum pro rata

Contract Type: Fixed term until March 2025

Hours: 37 hours per week – Part Year working (38 weeks)

Location: Crewe Campus

We are seeking a Higher Education Community Engagement Officer to join our team at our Crewe campus with the flexibility to travel across all campuses.

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative officer to build and sustain successful relationships with local communities, organisations and their stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• To take lead responsibility for the recruitment of students in particular communities and groups;
• To establish and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders and community leaders to develop a sustainable pipeline of prospective students; and
• Contribute to and support curriculum teams to achieve challenging student recruitment targets through high quality activities.

Key Person Specification Requirements:

• High Level Vocational Qualification Level 3 or above ;
• GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths;
• Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
• Up-to-date experience; and
• Enhanced DBS check
