South Bank Colleges is looking for a Higher Education Mentor that want to make a difference the education and training of young people and adults on our higher technical and Level 4 provision. We are looking for passionate individuals who value equality, diversity and inclusion supporting students with SEND and disabilities helping them improve their skills and achieve their educational targets. You will encourage and support our students to achieve success based on their aspirations, needs and abilities supporting them to work at a higher technical and Level 4+. The college is also committed to developing the expertise and specialisms colleagues and so there is a willingness to support upskilling or professional qualifications for example in communication support work (interpreting), mental health or Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). You will have the opportunity to shape this brand new role as part of our new and exciting technical college.
Permanent - Part Time - 21.6 hours per week

Skills & Experience
Candidate will hold a Personal skills in English, Mathematics and ICT by holding Level 2 qualifications with a 5-year currency (or by undertaking initial assessments at job interview stage and by achieving Level 2 within one year of their appointment date as appropriate)
