Location: York (Hybrid 3 days in the office minimum a week)
Pay: 16.64 per hour

Hours: 37 hours a week (Monday - Friday, 8-4 or 9-5)

What Will Be Your Day to Day Responsibilities?
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Awarding grants and contracts that are relevant to the DEFRA organisation
- Influence operational commercial decisions at an operational level in a grant or procurement discipline
- Work with stakeholders in a commercial environment and appropriately influence or question to ensure the best results
- Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders (at all levels) both in a technical and non-technical environment
- Effectively inspect financial and non-financial information
- Effectively complete your due diligence and study fraud risk in project proposals.
- Deliver improvements to ways of working that will make a lasting positive change
