Are you a Teaching Assistant who wants an extra challenge, or an experienced HLTA who fancies a change? This may be the position you are looking for. We are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join our lovely school and the Bressingham team. This role will involve covering classes across the school (as necessary) as well as supporting teaching and learning by leading intervention groups. The ability to teach PE across the primary age range would be an advantage but is not essential.

We are looking for someone who ideally:

• Has proven successful experience of working in Key Stage 2, but is open to working in other year groups
• Has an enthusiasm for learning and enabling every child to achieve their potential
• Has a positive ‘can do’ attitude and is able to set clear, firm expectations for behaviour
• Has excellent literacy (both written and verbal), numeracy and IT skills
• Is able to establish relationships with children (and adults) and encourage independence
• Is a nurturing, calm and forward looking individual
• Is able to work as a member of a team and under their own initiative to support learning
• Is flexible and would be happy to cover the occasional lunch duty in the event of staff absence
• Is confidential
• Would embody our school ethos
