Highways and Utilities Manager - Civils - Nottingham and surrounding areas - up to £70,000 (dependant on experience) + package

Your new company will look to pay a salary of up to £70,000 depending on experience with a package included such as a company car or car allowance with healthcare, company phone and laptop.
Responsibilities & Duties:
* The management and delivery of all highways, drainage, civil engineering and utilities designs on our projects.
* Independently working on technical aspects including preparing design briefs, influencing and overseeing the delivery of design, specification, and technical approval submissions.
* Primary point of contact for all highway, drainage, civil engineering, and utilities works, liaising with the preconstruction and construction teams, consultants and technical authorities.
* Developing and agreeing briefs with the design team and design suppliers.
* Main point of contact, managing and overseeing the technical approval of all highways, drainage, civil engineering, and utilities works and agreements with the relevant authorities including, National Highways, local authorities and statutory undertakers and utilities.
Must have:
* Extensive knowledge and understanding of civil engineering construction with experience in managing the delivery of the design and construction of development sites, including; ground treatment, bulk earthworks, drainage, piling, utilities, structures and highway works.
* Experience in managing and delivering Section 278 works with National Highways and Local Authorities.
* Excellent programme management skills with competence in Microsoft Project and or Asta PowerProject.
* Understanding of Building Regulations and Planning Permission procedures and adoptable highways (s278) and drainage works (s104)
