Job Title: Highways Project Manager
Location: West Yorkshire, UK
Salary: £70,000-£75,000 per annum dependent on experience
My client are a major player within the civil engineering industry, providing services within multiple disciplines across the UK and with a fantastic reputation with the clients they work with. They're currently looking for a Highways Project Manager from a Tier 1 major projects background and expertise within structures to join the team within the West Yorkshire area.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Highways Project Manager:
Oversee the projects from conception until completion
Travel to numerous sites across the coverage area
Promote health and safety standards on site
Liaise with the client to ensure project is meeting specifications and within budget
Communicate with members of public and mitigate any issues
Lead the project team efficiently
Complete documentation within the office
 
Requirements for the Highways Project Manager:
Experience on major highways schemes in a project management position
Tier 1 contractor background
Heavy civils and structural experience preferred
Good commercial and contractual knowledge
Clear and confident communication skills
Willingness to travel across sites
CSCS Card
SMSTS
EUSR preferred but not essential
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
