We are currently recruiting for Senior Operatives in Highways maintenance and construction to work in a growing service area. You must have the ability to work within a team and be able to lay a wide range of materials including bituminous, concrete and ironwork along with other highways related products. You should be competent in working on the highway and in dealing with traffic management.

This will include the opportunity to participate in the council’s winter maintenance programme and out of hours emergency service. This will include paid standby sessions and payments for the hours required to work during the standby period. In addition to this there is an opportunity to obtain training towards a Class 2 LGV licence subject to personal driving criteria being met.
