Leicestershire County Council’s in-house Legal Services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious highway & planning lawyer to join its friendly and busy Environment & Property Team working with colleagues in Environment and Transport and Planning Teams.
The successful candidate will have experience in working in local government or in private practice and will have a good track record in advising on a variety of highway and planning matters.
Eligible candidates should have qualified as a solicitor, barrister or legal executive.
The successful applicant will be expected to handle their own caseload of highway and planning matters including drafting and negotiating highways infrastructure and planning agreements and associated agreements as well as be able to provide advice on all aspects of highway and planning to instructing client officers.
