Histology - Specialist Biomedical Scientist Band 6 - Dorset

My client based in Dorset is looking for an experienced, Band 6Specialist Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract, starting as soon as possible.

The Role:

• Job Title: SpecialistBiomedical Scientist
• Band: 6
• Division: Histopathology
• Location: Dorset County Hospital
• Department: Histopathology
• Start Date: Asap -Ongoing
• Working Pattern: 37.5 hrs/week

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist.
• UK based Lab experience in Cellular Pathology.
• Experience within a busy cellular pathology lab.
• Ability to cut at least 40 blocks per hour.
• Ability to cut levels and serial sections.
• Embedding
• Special Stains.
