Are you looking to support students as a History ECT?
Can you prepare students to achieve fantastic results in their GCSE exams as a History ECT?

*** Permanent role, undertaking full teaching responsibilities
*** Ofsted ‘Good’ secondary school in Wolverhampton
*** History ECT position, starting September 2024
*** £30,000 per annum
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with their humanities studies, specifically history. As a History ECT you will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons as well as preparing students for end of year exams.
As a History ECT you will be given all the tools you need to create engaging lessons as well as been supported by the head of humanities who has been with the school for a number of years and who has turned the department into a real success.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Humanities or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.
  • Proven experience in delivering effective and engaging lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
