History Teacher

Full Time Easter 2024 start
Rate: £130-190 depending on experience and TPSA mainstream secondary in Willenhall are looking for a History Teacher to join their team from Easter 2024 on a full time basis.
The role would initially be a temporary placement until l the end of the academic year, but will very likely be extended into September and follow the AWR (Agency worker rights) procedure after 12 weeks, entitling you to the same benefits as permanent staff members in the school, taking you into an excellent working environment with many supportive educators surrounding you.
As a History Teacher you’ll be essential to imparting knowledge onto students and inspiring passion in them across their History GCSE studies. This role is 5 days a week during term time and would include full planning and preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the schools history lessons across KS3/4
- Work and communicate effectively within the humanities department.
- Planning and marking will be required.
Requirements:
- Experience within secondary schools is required - ECTs please apply as we do have September roles available too
- Strong literacy skills will be needed.
- Must have a passion for history.
- Ability to share your passion for history with the students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
