We currently have 3 opportunities with a reserve list which will be for 12 months in our Operational Credibility Team which offers candidates the opportunity to join a collaborative, customer focused and front-line team.

Job description

The team has the responsibility to assure trade data submissions, to produce quality and timely trade data to a strict timetable ready for publication.

A typical day will entail working as a team player, prioritising your work, making informed decisions relating to meeting the priorities set by team leaders.

Interpreting data querying anomalies with the trader or agent to confirm or correct the entry, updating various IT systems/databases, bringing up any issues that you are unable to resolve.

This role involves daily, direct customer liaison using a range of communication routes such as telephone and email contact.

Essential Criteria

Applicants should be proficient and have a proven track record of using Office 365, you will predominantly be using Excel and Outlook every day and have the skills for learning new systems and ways of working.

Sound interpersonal skills, ability to connect with a wide range of internal/external contacts e.g., by use of the telephone and in writing via email/secure data messaging.

Ability to work independently and alongside a wider team, to enable strong working relationships.

How to Apply

Applicants will need to pass the following tests before they can commence the CV and Personal Statement application.

  • Civil Service Numerical Test
  • Civil Service Verbal Test

Due to an update to the scoring benchmarks for the Civil Service Verbal and Numerical tests, from the 13th October 2022, a new benchmark has been applied and all online tests now must be retaken, regardless of whether you have taken the old test within the last 6 months.

We acknowledge that you may be disappointed if you are asked to retake a test when you had banked a score for it on the previous benchmark.

We are not able to change this decision, and we need to ensure that all candidates are treated equally.

If you pass the test, you will be asked for:
