Holiday Cottage Cleaner

We're looking for two Holiday Cottage Cleaners to prepare our stunning Holiday Cottages at Biddenden and Sissinghurst Castle.

Hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible. The main changeover day is a Monday, Thursday or Friday, however, short breaks mean that changeover days can also fall on other days of the week including Saturdays. We do not offer changeovers on a Sunday. Working hours are between 10am and 3.30pm. You would have the opportunity to work other, additional hours if you are able to do so as we also have Holiday Cottages at Scotney Castle, Nymans and Sheffield Park.

Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.

Salary: £10.50 per hour

Duration: Fixed Term initially.

Internally you'll be known as 'Holidays Operation Assistant'

Interviews will be held at Sissinghurst Castle on the 2nd of February.

What you'll be doing:On change-over days, you’ll make sure that everything’s clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming for our guests. We’d also like you to keep an eye out and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies.

Full Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.
