Summary

We are looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our stunning Holiday Cottages on the Attingham Estate.

Salary: £10.50 per hour

Hours: This role is based on annualised hours, where the number of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. We are looking for 2 cleaners to work 234 hours per year (4.5 hours per clean) and 1 to work 260 hours per year (5 hrs per clean). 

The main changeover days are Monday and Fridayhowever, short breaks mean that changeover days can also fall on other days of the week. Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.

Internally you will be known as 'Holidays Operation Assistant'

We are currently undertaking our pay review process and it is likely that this salary will be increased from 1st April 2024.

What it's like to work here

You'll be looking after our beautiful barn conversions on the Attingham Park Estate. The barns at Berwick New House Farm are in a block of five barns and you'll normally be working with a team of 6 with a dedicated Team Leader. Threshing Barn is a semi detached barn next to Smethcote barn. There, you'll work alongside the Team Leader who looks after 4 of our barns across Attingham Park Estate and within the centre of Shrewsbury.

What you'll be doing

On change-over days, you’ll make sure that everything’s clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming for our guests. We’d also like you to keep an eye out and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies.

Full Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.
