We’re looking for a Holidays Operation Assistant Manager to assist the Holidays Manager in the efficient delivery of their Holidays portfolio.

The hours: This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. You'll work 1300 hours per year and on average, you'll work 25 hours per week but again, this will be flexible depending on operational demand.
Supporting our guests and our teams, means that you will also be required to work on a Saturday.
We are a dedicated and hardworking team who look after some amazing holiday cottage, lodges and barns in beautiful surrounding. In this role you will help to care for the cottages and the staff who work in them.
Your contractual location will be Attingham Park, but your will involve travelling around the holiday cottages we care in Shropshire, East Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. We also have a hybrid working arrangement.
You'll deliver high levels of customer service to our guests, dealing with queries in line with agreed NT procedures. Team work will be essential, as you'll be working with the wider property team, as well as Contact Centre staff and internal service delivery is just as important.
You'll be excellent with people. As the first point of contact for housekeeping teams, your supervisory experience will really help you to get the best from the team through training, coaching and development in order to deliver a consistent offer in line with the NT holidays toolkit. Alongside this you'll be organising rotas in line with bookings, ensuring that changeovers and service cleans are delivered and good stock control is essential, as is efficient purchasing and store management in order to minimise costs whilst still providing a good service to our housekeepers.
You will be assisting in the management of the day to day operations, using your initiative to solve problems and ensuring a high level of service. The day to day is similar to facilities management, ensuring compliance systems are kept up to day, resolving guests problems, organising contractors attendance, reviewing cleaning standards and placing orders. You'll also provide additional help in setting up new holiday accommodation, from planning orders to unpacking and setting up new assets as well as updating accommodation user guides and welcome folders. You'll ensure that that the busy housekeeping team who look after our cottages have all they need to work efficiently at busy times, you must also be prepared to clean cottages.
To deliver this role successfully, you'll need:
- practical experience in an operational role in a holiday operating environment
- a good understanding of necessary standards of housekeeping, presentation and maintenance
- some supervisory experience
- working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures and experience of risk assessments
- good interpersonal skills
- a full UK driving license and car and are confident at driving distances
