Job description

HRC is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Support Workers. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and care to individuals who require support in their own homes in the Wishaw Area

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Handle personal care with respect and dignity.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare team members.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients.
  • Ability to follow care plans and adapt to the changing needs of clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.
  • Walkers and Drivers both welcome, each home is within walking distance

Shift pattern

  • Week 1 - 4 days on 3 days off
  • Week 2 - 2 day on 5 days off
