HRC is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Support Workers. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and care to individuals who require support in their own homes in the Wishaw Area
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Handle personal care with respect and dignity.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to the changing needs of clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.
- Walkers and Drivers both welcome, each home is within walking distance
Shift pattern
- Week 1 - 4 days on 3 days off
- Week 2 - 2 day on 5 days off
