Home Care Assistant
Alcester • Full time and part time positions • 6 – 40 hours per week • £10.50-£13 per hour • Travel paid @ full rate, 35p/mile • Paid door to door
Arden Personnel are recruiting for a homecare agency based in the market town of Alcester, Warwickshire. They pride theirselves in delivering the highest quality service to their clients and offer a unique service which differs to their competitors. Their aim is to ensure that they enable their clients to remain as independent as possible, for as long as possible.
The roles they are looking to recruit for are part time or full time between 6-40 hours depending on your requirements. This will include weekend and shift work.

Day to Day duties as a Homecare Assistant will include the following:
Visiting clients at their home
Helping or supervising client washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assisting with any shopping required
Going out with the client on little outings
General companionship ie watching tv, chatting etc
Helping with cleaning, laundry etc
Preparing client meals and snacks and feeding or supervising eating and drinking
Administering medications
Monitoring client health conditions
Reporting client progress and any concerns to Home Care Manager
Keeping paperwork updated for each client
As a Homecare Assistant you will need the following qualities & experience:
Able to use initiative and able to work as a team and independently.
A strong desire to care and be compassionate.
NVQ Level 2/3 would be desirable, options to enrol onto funded qualification.
Ability to drive with a FULL licence and Class A Business Insurance.
Willing to ensure all mandatory training is completed in a timely manner
Willing to study and take part in the E-Learning system
Alternate weekend availability is desirable
Effective written and verbal communication skills
