What would a day in the life as a care professional look like?Â
Arriving at your first client of the day will give you a great sense of satisfaction knowing your going to make a difference to that persons day.Â
Assisting clients to feel motivated throughout the day. This could be supporting with a shower or picking out there favourite clothing or supporting with toilet breaks.Â
How about helping preparing a favourite meal, if you can poach an egg you are on to a winner, if not don't worry we can teach you! Â
To help our clients feel healthy we support with medication, ensuing they feel confident and comfortable to remain where they want to be, at home.Â
Are you a dab hand with a duster or dance a hoover around the room? As a standard at Home Instead we ensure we keep their homes how they like it and this means some support with light household tasks. Â
All of our clients are individual and unique. You will need to be able to adapt yourself to different situations to improve the clients wellbeing, being a companion to our clients does just this. Companionship means chatting over a cuppa, or heading out on a shopping trip to the garden centre, simply just spending time together.Â
