Salary: £60,000.00 to £65,000.00

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Home Manager to lead our team in our new home based in Swindon, North Wiltshire. As the Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents in accordance with their individual needs. This position requires a dynamic individual with proven general management experience in a similar residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership:

   • Lead and manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the home.
   • Ensure the delivery of outstanding, personalized care to residents.
   • Uphold compliance with relevant legislation and care standards through continuous monitoring and practical support.

2. Financial Management:

   • Oversee the financial aspects of the home, managing budgets effectively.
   • Implement cost-effective measures while maintaining high-quality care standards.

3. Team Leadership:

   • Inspire and lead a dedicated staff team to achieve excellence in care provision.
   • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to ensure a positive working environment.

4. Regulatory Compliance:

   • Ensure the home meets and exceeds Fundamental Standards and other regulatory requirements.
   • Stay updated on changes in legislation and implement necessary adjustments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., NVQ/RMA/Diploma minimum level 5).
• Previous General Management experience within a residential environment of a similar size.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including robust IT skills.
• Good knowledge of Fundamental Standards and principles of Person-Centered Care.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise, and manage a team of staff.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and up-to-date knowledge and skills.
• Experience in providing care to residents with Dementia-related illnesses.
• Good level of commercial knowledge.
