SalaryLocated on the outskirts of the rural market town of Newent; about 10 miles north-west of Gloucester city, and with magnificent 38-acre site and impressive sports facilities, Newent Community School and Sixth Form Centre are seeking to appoint a Home School Liaison Officer with a proven track record. Newent Community School and Sixth Form Centre is an 11-18 comprehensive academy with c 1150 students currently on roll.
The Home School Liaison Officer will play a vital role in promoting regular school attendance and addressing issues related to non-attendance at Newent Community School and Sixth Form Centre. You will work closely with students, parents/guardians, school staff, and relevant external agencies to improve attendance rates and contribute to the overall well-being and educational success of students. We need a self-motivated, creative team player who can add an extra dimension to our thinking. Newent Community School and Sixth Form Centre has a strong team spirit and a passion for creating an inclusive learning environment, which enables the holistic development of all students.
