We are seeking a qualified and passionate Home Tutor to support a young person of Primary age diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Bromsgrove. As an experienced educator, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic and personal development of this student.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised one-on-one tutoring sessions with comprehensive coverage of Maths, English, and Science subjects.
• Tailor lesson plans and materials to align with national curriculum standards, adapting them to the unique learning style of the student, especially those at risk of exclusion.
• Regularly assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes and offering necessary support for engagement and motivation.
• Foster a positive, stimulating learning environment that promotes student excellence, offering guidance and encouragement for their success.
• Maintain open communication with parents or guardians, providing feedback and collaboratively addressing concerns to support students' academic and personal development.
• Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance, ensuring accountability and tracking progress over time.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the primary school curriculum, particularly in Maths, English, and Science.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Flexible availability to accommodate either full-time or part-time hours, according to your current schedule.
